About

The Full Story

Life Line Housing was born out of my (Brandie Cosby) own story — one filled with pain, perseverance, and ultimately, purpose. I know what it feels like to be lost in addiction, to believe there’s no way out, and to feel the weight of shame pulling you backward. My turning point came during a 13-mile walk — not away from drugs, but back toward them. I thought I was too far gone, too broken to change.

But God had another plan. Just days later, my mom met with me face-to-face and saw the truth — I needed help. That moment became the first step toward a new beginning. Through faith, grace, and the unwavering support of my family and church, I found the courage to rebuild what addiction tried to destroy.

With time, I became a graduate of Christian Women’s Job Corps (CWJC), where I discovered the importance of faith, structure, and community. I went on to graduate from Angelina College with a degree in Case Management and later earned my Bachelor’s in Rehabilitation from Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA). Those experiences helped me see the power of second chances and gave me the passion to help others find theirs.

Life Line Housing was created to offer that same foundation — a place where people can find safety, support, and spiritual guidance as they rebuild their lives. Here, we believe that no one is too far gone, and no story is beyond redemption.

Every person deserves a chance to find their footing, rediscover their worth, and walk toward freedom with faith leading the way.
