Safety Coordinator Volunteer Description

As a Safety Coordinator Volunteer, you help create a secure and peaceful environment for all attendees. Your role ensures that guests, volunteers, and staff can enjoy the event with confidence, knowing safety is being thoughtfully monitored. With awareness, calm leadership, and a heart for service, you help protect and support our community while reflecting the care and responsibility that Life Line Housing stands for.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitor event areas to ensure a safe and orderly environment
Support emergency procedures and communicate any concerns quickly
Serve as a point of contact for guests or volunteers needing assistance
Assist with minor first-aid needs (if trained) or connect with trained staff
Help direct crowd movement and maintain clear walkways and exits
Stay alert, observant, and proactive to avoid safety risks

Qualities We Value:
Calm, confident, and attentive presence
Good judgment and ability to respond quickly and respectfully
Awareness of surroundings and strong communication skills
Commitment to safety and care for others
Helpful, approachable, and supportive demeanor
Preferred Experience (not required):
CPR or First Aid training
Security, safety, or medical background helpful, but not necessary — training is provided
