About the Role

Life Line Housing is seeking a compassionate and organized Human Resources Representative to support both staff and residents through effective case and staff management. This position helps ensure a healthy, faith-centered workplace by overseeing hiring, onboarding, and training while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all personnel matters.

The HR Representative will also assist with resident support coordination, performance development, and team communication. This role requires excellent people skills, attention to detail, and a heart for serving others in alignment with Life Line Housing’s mission of hope, recovery, and community transformation.

A degree in human resources, business, psychology, or social services is preferred, along with experience in HR, case management, or nonprofit administration. Above all, the right candidate will demonstrate integrity, compassion, and a desire to make a lasting impact in the lives of others.

Position Overview

The Human Resources Representative serves as both an administrative and relational leader within Life Line Housing, ensuring that all staffing, volunteer, and resident support systems reflect the organization’s values of integrity, respect, and compassion. This role combines Human Resources functions with Case and Staff Management (CSM) responsibilities to create a healthy, supportive, and mission-driven environment for employees and residents alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and personnel records for staff and volunteers.

  • Assist with scheduling, training, and performance development in collaboration with the Executive Director.

  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information with professionalism and care.

  • Support staff and residents through case management duties—helping track progress, coordinate referrals, and encourage accountability.

  • Ensure compliance with workplace, safety, and nonprofit employment standards.

  • Help foster a positive, faith-centered culture where staff and residents feel valued and equipped.

  • Assist with conflict resolution, HR documentation, and team communication.

  • Contribute to strategic discussions on staffing, training, and organizational health.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or Social Services preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in human resources, case management, or nonprofit administration.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to encourage and coach others.

  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and confidentiality standards.

  • Compassionate, organized, and mission-minded.

  • Must pass a background check.
