Life Line Housing Receives the $3,000 Better Together Grant!

A Step Forward in Education, Partnership, and Purpose

Today is a truly meaningful milestone for Life Line Housing, and one that reminds us just how faithful God is in every step of this journey.

We are honored to announce that Life Line Housing has been awarded a $3,000 Better Together Grant.

This grant isn’t just financial support — it is a partnership with people who genuinely care about strengthening our community. Through Better Together, our team will receive mentorship, training, and community development. Their insight will help us build a strong and informed foundation for the work God has called us to do.

This $3,000 grant will go directly toward educating the Life Line Housing team so we can create the safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment our future residents deserve. Before we ever open our doors, we want to ensure our team understands trauma-informed care, healthy boundaries, recovery principles, and how to build a stable environment where people can begin again.

What makes this grant especially meaningful is the personal journey behind it. Life Line Housing began as a dream — a God-planted vision to create a place where people could find hope, dignity, and a new start. There were moments of uncertainty, plenty of learning curves, and times when the next step wasn’t clear. But every time, God provided direction. And today, He provided partnership.

Standing in the SFA Social Work building, surrounded by people who believe in collaboration and community healing, was a reminder that we don’t walk this road alone. The Better Together program brings organizations side-by-side for a reason — because change happens when people link arms, share wisdom, and invest in one another.

For Life Line Housing, this partnership is a blessing. It gives us structure. It gives us support. It gives us the educational tools we need to create a place where individuals can safely recover, rebuild, and rediscover who God created them to be.

To our supporters, volunteers, board members, prayer warriors, and community partners: thank you. You have believed in this mission when it was just ideas on paper. Today, those ideas are becoming reality — step by step, door by door, training by training.

We truly are better together — and this grant is just the beginning of what God is building through Life Line Housing.

More updates coming soon… the best is yet to come. 💜✨
